Pierre Berenstein
Executive Vice President, Chief Customer Officer
Pierre Berenstein assumed the role of Chief Customer Officer in August 2023. In this role, he leads the global customer experience strategy for Bloomin’ Brands and guides a team of marketers, agencies and partners who use innovation, guided by consumer insights, to create compelling marketing propositions, working closely with the digital team to amplify the message.
Pierre is also responsible for developing and implementing the company's objectives, growth strategies, and initiatives for Outback Steakhouse and Abbraccio in Brazil. Mauro Guardabassi, President of Bloomin’ Brands Brazil, reports to Pierre.
Pierre previously served as President of Bloomin’ Brands Brazil in May 2017 through October 2023. Before joining Bloomin' Brands, Pierre served as the CEO of Brazil at International Meal Company, where he oversaw all operations within the Brazilian territory. He also spent more than 20 years working in a variety of leadership positions at Saraiva, GRSA (Compass Group Brazil), CSN, Playcenter, and Hopi Hari.
Pierre holds a degree in Economics from PUC-SP, with an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral and specialization in management from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. He is also certified in Operations, Logistics, and Supply Chain by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
