Pat Hafner

Executive Vice President, President of Outback Steakhouse

Pat Hafner was named the Executive Vice President, President of Outback Steakhouse in January 2025. He is responsible for leading the Culinary team, and domestic operations and development for nearly 700 Outback Steakhouse restaurants nationwide.

Pat began his restaurant career at Outback Steakhouse in 1996 as a server and cook.  His success in every subsequent position, including Manager, Managing Partner, JVP, and ultimately Regional Vice President for Outback Steakhouse laid the foundation for a transition to the Carrabba’s team as Vice President of Operations in 2018. He was promoted to President of Carrabba’s in 2022.

Pat’s tenure at Carrabba’s will be remembered for his success in optimizing results by empowering his team to improve operations, rooted in the passion for great food and taking care of people as the brand’s founders intended. Pat and his team led Bloomin’ Brands traffic and comparative sales through operations excellence, great food, and converting dayparts with elevated innovation.

Hafner earned both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of New Mexico.
