Kelly Lefferts

Kelly Lefferts has served as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Bloomin' Brands since July 2019. She joined the Company in 1997 as Corporate Counsel and has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout her tenure. 

Kelly oversees the Company's legal, compliance, employee relations, risk management, communications, and government affairs functions.

Prior to joining Bloomin' Brands, Kelly practiced law with Foley & Lardner LLP, where she advised clients on corporate and business matters, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, executive compensation, and commercial lending. 

Kelly is an active leader in the restaurant industry and broader community. She is a founding member and former Chair of the Restaurant Law Center and currently serves on the Board of Directors and Advocacy Committee of the National Restaurant Association. She also serves on the Board of Directors and Governance & Nominating Committee of the Women's Foodservice Forum, where she previously served on the Compensation and Finance Committees. She is a member of the Board of Trustees and Credentialing Committee of St. Joseph's Hospital. In addition, Kelly previously served on the Board of Directors of Children's Home Society of Greater Tampa Bay. 

Kelly holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from New York University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Florida.
