Carrabba’s Italian Grill Uses Video Featuring Actual Guest Comments To Announce The Return Of Two Favorite Appetizers

Mozzarella Marinara and Zucchini Fritte are back by popular demand

TAMPA, Fla. (April 13, 2016) – Following a brief hiatus from the menu, Mozzarella Marinara and Zucchini Fritte have returned. After reading the passionate comments about these two appetizers, Carrabba’s President Michael Kappitt says putting them back on the menu was job #1. Job #2…How to announce it.

“We appreciate customer feedback and take it seriously, but some of the comments we received actually made us laugh - they were both clever and funny,” said Kappitt. “Some were too good not to share, so that’s exactly what we decided to do.”

With much of the feedback originating on social media, Carrabba’s responded with a Facebook video. In the video, founder Johnny Carrabba, Kappitt and other Carrabba’s team members share a montage of witty comments from social media followers while announcing the appetizers’ return.

Mozzarella Marinara is hand-cut and breaded in house and served with Carrabba’s marinara sauce. Zucchini Fritte is fresh, never-frozen, hand-breaded zucchini that is lightly fried and served with roasted garlic aioli. They are made from scratch daily in an open kitchen.

Both appetizers are now available at your local Carrabba’s.
